Follow the instructions below to download the Microsoft Security Update.
If you are using Firefox browser

Close the downloads window and all other programs |

Go to your desktop and double-click the "WindowsXP-KB912919-x86-ENU.exe" file icon |

In the "Software Update Installation Wizard" window, select Next |

To continue with setup, you must accept the terms of the license agreement by selecting "I agree," then Next |

Wait approximately 30 seconds while the update installs |

Allow your ThinkPad to restart and complete the security update by selecting Finish (Note: if you are not prompted to restart, your ThinkPad has already received the update through an automatic update process.) |

After restarting, you can delete the file icon from your desktop |
