Use of your WFU ThinkPad after graduation
Please follow the instructions below to download and install the WFU Updater program. This will ensure continued access to your ThinkPad.

1.

WFU Updater
a. Click the link above.
b. Choose Save. Save the file to your desktop.
c. Minimize all windows and double click WFUUpdater.exe
d. At the next window, click Unzip.
e. After it unzips, click OK, then Close.
f. Click Start > Run and type: c:\wfuupdater\update.bat
g. This installation will take about 10 seconds. When you return to the original folder, the files are finished copying.
h. Restart your ThinkPad for the new programs to complete their installations.

2.

Changing your password
(Follow these steps the first time you log on after your graduation date.)
a. Turn on or restart the ThinkPad. The program may take up to five minutes before it runs, and requests that you change your password.
b. A box will pop up that will ask you to "Set a New Local Password"
c. You will have to type the new password in twice to confirm it has been typed correctly.
d. Click "OK" and it will take you to a screen that shows you your password.
e. Click "OK" again and your password will be changed.
f. The next time you restart your computer, you will have to login with the username "Administrator" and the password you just set.
