What is Your ThinkPad Doing This Summer?

If you're planning to travel with your ThinkPad during the summer, consider these travel tips:

• Back up your data before you leave!
• Make sure your password is current before leaving the WFU network.
• Label your ThinkPad with a non-permanent label.
• Be extra careful in airports, bus stations and coffee shops. Keep an eye on your ThinkPad at all times.
• Never check your ThinkPad with your luggage or put it in an overhead compartment. Store it under your seat.
• Always Shut Down during transit. Now is not the time to hibernate or standby.
• If your ThinkPad is stolen, call local authorities. Information Systems will need a copy of a police report to process any claim.
