Phishing e-mails are becoming more sophisticated!

The latest bogus ACCOUNT ALERT message spoofs "@wfu" addresses to convince you to respond. Don't be fooled by messages like these!

According to our terms of services, you will have to confirm your e-mail
by the following link or your account will be suspended within 24 hours
for security reasons.

After following the instructions in the sheet, your account will not be
interrupted and will continue as normal.

Remember: Even if you know who is sending you a file or a link through e-mail or IM, you should always use caution in opening it. Do not click on any hyperlink or attachment that you do not recognize or do not expect to receive!

All official Wake Forest computing communications are sent to you from IS-Communications. No University office will ask you to confirm account information via e-mail.

To prevent losing important information on your ThinkPad due to a virus, back-up your data regularly. If you suspect that you have been infected by virus or have further questions, contact the Information Systems Help Desk.
