Password lifetime |
90 days; after 90 days Banner users will be prompted to change password (other Wake Forest passwords expire every 180 days) |
Grace period |
7 days; after password expires, user will be given 7 days to change it during which current password will be useable. After 7 days user will be forced to change password before logging in. |
Reuse time |
30 days; user will not be able to reuse a password for 30 days |
Reuse max |
6; user will not be able to reuse the last 6 passwords |

must be alpha-numeric (0-9, a-z, A-Z, #, $, _ ) |
Failed login attempts |
5; after 5 unsuccessive login attempts the account is locked |

5 minutes; account is locked for only 5 minutes, after which the user can again attempt to login |

Banner passwords do not synchronize with your standard Wake Forest computing password. |
