Cable television service is now restored to all campus buildings. However, users may experience reception-quality issues in channels 50 and higher until the faulty part can be replaced. If you have questions about your cable TV reception, contact the Information Systems Help Desk at xHELP (x4357).

Campus Cable TV Repair 7/22-8/5

On Friday, July 22, Information Systems staff will begin a repair of the campus cable system. All buildings will experience a temporary cable TV outage from 2-2:30 pm. on Friday, July 22 while we remove a faulty part. Once the faulty part is removed, cable television services will be restored to most buildings.

The following buildings are serviced by the faulty part which will be repaired over a two week period. Therefore, cable television services in these buildings will be unavailable through Friday, August 5.

  • Miller Center
  • Reynolda Hall
  • Benson University Center
  • H.S. Moore Building
  • Greene Hall
  • Tribble Hall
  • Salem Hall
  • Olin Hall
  • Winston Hall
  • Z. Smith Reynolds Library
  • Museum of Anthropology
  • WFDD
  • Welcome Center
  • Luter Residence Hall
  • Babcock Residence Hall
  • Palmer and Piccolo Residence Halls
