Change in Daylight Saving Time Requires Downtime

In response to the federally mandated changes in Daylight Saving Time this spring, Information Systems is conducting a comprehensive review of time-related exposures to our campus computing systems. Our preparation for these changes will result in the unavailability of some campus computing services as we apply mandated upgrades.

On Saturday, February 17, we will extend regularly scheduled downtime for this work. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 17, several services will be unavailable including WIN and Banner.

Additional work will be required during the next three weeks. We will make every effort to schedule this work in our regularly scheduled maintenance window of 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Required work scheduled outside of this window, as well as updates on the status of our work, will be posted on our Daylight Saving Time Web site.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we ensure our campus is not adversely affected by the Daylight Saving Time changes. If you have questions about this message, please contact the Information Systems Help Desk at xHELP (x4357).
