Using the T60 ThinkPad with the HP 4180 Printer

The new T60 ThinkPad needs software installed before you can use it with your new HP 4180 printer/scanner/copier. Follow the instructions below to install the software. Need help? Contact the Help Desk at xHELP (x4357).

1. Plug in the printer to the T60 and turn it on.
2. When prompted for the "hp_cd", click OK
3. In the "Copy files from:" box, type c:\hp4100, and click OK
4. When prompted to Check For Updates, select "No, I prefer to do this myself," in all instances.
5. Click Restart. Installation continues automatically.
6. Review the License Agreement and select "I agree"
7. At the next two prompts, click Next
8. Click finish
